022 Baby Kale

Recently, I mentioned that we planted kale for the first time ever. We are fortunate enough to be able to sell it at our Local Farmer’s Market, and we have more than enough for all of us to enjoy. 🙂

We all know kale is very, very good for you. It’s even considered a Superfood! So, knowing kale is so good for you, I thought I would research what exactly makes kale so healthy. Did you know?

Kale is rich in flavonoids and antioxidants to fight cancers.

Kale can help lower bad cholesterol and prevent cancer.

Kale is calcium-rich for healthy bones.

Kale is rich in carotenes to protect eyes.

Kale tastes great! Personally, I really like baby kale.

There are so many great ways to enjoy kale! My favorite way is in a salad mixed with fresh baby spinach, other leafy salad greens, or mixed with Romaine lettuce.

If you haven’t tried kale yet, I strongly recommend giving it a try!

Happy Saturday!
