Reese’s Peanut Butter Pumpkin Brownie Cupcakes

You’ve got to make these Reese’s Peanut Butter Pumpkin Brownie Cupcakes, they have all of your favorite flavors in one great brownie cupcake!

Halloween is Saturday and I wanted to give you guys one more easy and fun treat you can make for Halloween. These Reese’s Peanut Butter Pumpkin Brownie Cupcakes are really for those people out there who like a hint of pumpkin flavor but really don’t like or want a lot of pumpkin flavor.

Not everyone likes or wants a strong pumpkin flavor in their food and I understand that. As a matter of fact, one of my guys isn’t always so big on pumpkin. The point is we all like different things and that’s fine.

These brownie cupcakes are SO GOOD! The first flavor to hit your taste buds is the flavor of a Reese’s peanut butter pumpkin (pumpkin in shape only), then you taste brownie, then you taste just a hint of pumpkin spice!

This brownie cupcake is WONDERFUL with or without the little donette – either way they turn out great! [Read more…]

Frosted Cookie Cake Pie is one of those things we’ve probably all thought about trying at one time or another. Or maybe something along this line anyway.

I have been thinking about it for a while, so it seemed like time to make my own version, and I’m glad I did the kids absolutely LOVED it!

If you are not familiar, Cookie Cake Pie is just as wonderful as it sounds! I went with more of a Halloween look and feel, being that it is that time of year! So, for my Frosted Cookie Cake Pie you start with a frozen deep dish pie crust, add your favorite chocolate chip cookie dough, then pour in bright orange cake batter (for Halloween of course) and bake! Let it cool completely, frost and add all the fun Halloween sprinkles you want to!

Keep in mind you can make your Frosted Cookie Cake Pie as simple or elaborate as you want to.

Let me show you how to make this for your favorite goblins. :) [Read more…]

Halloween Popcorn Cake

For the longest time I’ve had a recipe for something called Popcorn Cake. I got the recipe from my grandmother some time ago, and just kind of tucked it away. Honestly I didn’t really think much about it until recently.

Special Cereal Jar: Halloween

If you have anyone in your house that loves cereal, this is such a fun idea, and it’s always well received! It’s also just a really nice way for kids, or anyone at all, to start out the day.

This idea has probably been done a million times, but I don’t really know, because I have never looked. I’m not really a crafter. When and if I do a craft (if it can be called that), it’s always one with a specific purpose, usually consumption.

This idea just kind of came to me based on what I had, what I wanted to achieve, and the fact that I have a son who loves cereal! Oh, this also works well for a quick and easy “thinking of you” type of gift to brighten someone’s day. :)

What I like best about this whole concept is that it can be adapted to fit ANY special theme, party, holiday, etc.

For those of you new to Megamommy, WELCOME!

If you don’t know this already, I love skillet cookies, cakes, and brownies. So does my family. I used to hear about skillet cookies when I was a little girl. Then several years ago I saw Martha do one. At the time I thought hmm, but why?

Now, I say why not? They turn out get every time and it’s so easy to throw a skillet cookie in the oven before you cook your meal. Then you have a delicious dessert just waiting for you after dinner. :)

Hope you enjoy this my friends!

My husband and boys are forever asking me to make more brownies and more cookies! According to them, they haven’t had brownies in forever. Let me explain their use of the word forever. In this particular case it means approximately a couple of weeks. :)

With the weather just starting to change, and Fall coming very quickly, I was thinking Fall when I decided on brownie pops with some fun Halloween sprinkles. Mostly because the colors of the sprinkles are perfect for Fall.

Being that I had just made a different kind of cookie pop, for the Farmers Market a few days ago, I still had pops on the mind. So, let’s have some fun with brownie pops, shall we?

I admit we are not fans of cake pops, but we do like both brownie pops and cookie pops. I do make both depending upon the day or course. Plus they’re just a fun dessert to serve for just about any occasion. :)

These brownie pops are so good and so easy, once you get going it all comes together in no time at all!
