Always Mark Your Cans!

April 26, 2013 · by Mega ·

canned vegetables, green beans

ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS mark your cans!

If you have a food pantry, or even just a good amount of canned goods always write the expiration date clearly on the can! Even if you think you won’t forget, trust me over time you will.

I purchase inexpensive neon colored round dot stickers at Target for next to nothing. I like the neon colors because you get three or four different colors in each pack, and you can always find one that shows up well on what you’re marking. This works great for me, but use whatever system works best for you.

Keeping track of what you have will $ave you time and money! This also helps you know when you need to replace an item.

If you do this already good for you! If not, give it a try. You might be pleasantly surprised how well this works for you. 🙂
