Easy Chocolate Fudge with Candy Bar Pieces

So…today we’re talking fudge.

I have never really been a huge fan of fudge, neither is my husband. Until recently, I thought no one here really cared one way or another about fudge.

But, very recently when I was at the mall, the boys were with me of course, and we had a very interesting conversation as we walked through a store known for their fudge.

the boys: can we please try the fudge? (this store will give you a free sample IF you ask)

me: the fudge, why?

the boys: we love fudge!

me: what? since when??

the boys: we love fudge!

me: WHAT? you guys have asked for fudge, oh NEVER, you have never said you liked fudge, and have never even talk about fudge. you like fudge?

the boys: doesn’t everyone like fudge?…we love fudge!

Right then and there I knew I had to start experimenting with fudge. :)

Skillet Baked Chocolate-Sugar Cookie

I have been making cookies since grade school. It’s no wonder my kids like cookies as much as I do. Luckily, my husband loves homemade cookies as much as we do.

This is a simple cookie treat that you can prep in about 15 minutes, bake while you’re making dinner, and let cool for a bit while you’re eating. Then simply slice for dessert and enjoy!

This is not a gourmet dessert or one to impress your friends but we love skillet cookies and have made them for numerous family occasions. Usually, my fellas can’t wait to see what combo I’m going to do next. :)
