Fresh apples and a handful of other ingredients make it easy to create these handy little bundles for dessert. Be sure to get one while they’re still warm – they go quick!
Fresh and warm these Apple Pie Crescent Bundles are absolutely wonderful! Today, I am showing you how I make this simple finger food dessert and from there you can decide how fancy you want to get.
The nice thing about these little bundles is that they’re so easy to do on short notice! Not only that, who doesn’t love a little bundle of something yummy wrapped up nice and neat, served in the middle of a warm crescent? Seriously!
These little bundles are a wonderful finger food for parties! Or at home you can serve them warm with a nice bowl of ice cream, or my favorite way with some wonderful dipping sauce.
Ready to make some Apple Pie Crescent Bundles? Don’t let the tiny spots on the apples fool you! These apples are all-natural and wonderful! FYI – often times when apples are grown without pesticides or sprays they may have spots, there’s nothing wrong with that.
As I so often do, I chose to leave the peel on because we like them that way. Feel free to peel them if you want to. When you take these out of the oven, please give them a couple of minutes to cool! The cinnamon sugar mixture inside gets very hot so please let them cool a bit first! As you can see, I’m a big fan of the drizzle. Love the drizzle!
This is how I generally serve my Apple Pie Crescent Pie Bundles when we’re at the table and have them for dessert.
2 apples cored and sliced
2 cans (8 oz.) each refrigerated crescent rolls
2 tablespoons melted butter
3 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon allspice
White Sparkling Sugar, if desired
1 cup powdered sugar
1-2 tablespoons Cinnamon Cream Natural Bliss Creamer, or milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1. Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
2. Separate each can of dough into 8 triangles. Spread each dough triangle with melted butter, sprinkle with sugar mixture, and top with an apple slice. Roll up apple slice in the dough forming a crescent or bundle. Brush top with melted butter and sprinkle with a bit more of cinnamon sugar mixture, white sparkling sugar, or both.
3. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool a bit serve warm, but not hot.
4. Serve on a platter as finger food, serve with ice cream, or serve with dipping sauce.
