These Snickers Almond Butter Mini Pies are so much fun and a tasty change of pace. Who doesn’t love their own little mini pie?
We all love peanut butter, right? What about almond butter? As much we all love peanut butter, sometimes a change is nice just to mix things up a bit.
Almond butter is a fun & tasty way to give things a fun new spin. I know some people use almond butter and various nut butters all the time, and some people not so much. No problem, here’s an easy way to do it.
These mini pies have such a nice smooth flavor with the almond butter, but really it’s kind of a subtle flavor change and I love that!
This dessert is wonderful because it’s just a little different, but still has those familiar favorites. Hope you give this one a try!
A view from the top is always a good thing. Lots of yummy going on!
The mixture you put in the pie shells is nice and smooth, but maybe a little darker because of the almond butter…it’s delicious!
This is the Almond Butter I used, feel free to use any brand you want. Ah, the Snickers Almond Bars, so delicious!
Sprinkle as little or much chopped candy on top of the mini pies. But I found two bars to be plenty for all twelve mini pies.
Snickers Almond Butter Mini Pies
2 packages Keebler Mini Graham Cracker Pie Crusts, or any brand you prefer
1/2 cup almond butter
1/2 cup whole milk
1/2 cup cream cheese, or reduced fat cream cheese, softened
8-ounce container frozen whipped topping, thawed
2- regular size (1.76 oz.) Snickers Almond Bars
Directions:
1. Chop Snickers Almond Bars into desired size pieces. I like to chop them a little chunky. Be sure to keep the smaller finer pieces you naturally get on the cutting board from chopping. They are great for the final sprinkle over the pies.
2. Combine almond butter, milk, and cream cheese in a bowl; mix until smooth with a stand mixer or handheld mixer. Fold in whipped topping. Pour into mini pie crusts. Top with chopped candy pieces. Sprinkle with the fine chocolate pieces on the cutting board from chopping.
3. Freeze for about 30 minutes. Store in refrigerator after that.
Makes 12 Mini Pies.
