There aren’t too many things that make a better after school or mid-day snack than cookie sticks. Today, I share with you my favorite Fall Cookie Sticks! You may, or may not have seen my Holiday Chip Cookie Sticks that I did last holiday season.
Cookie sticks are the best! There are so many things you can do with them. You can change the chips, add candy, add sprinkles. You can make your cookie sticks as simple or elaborate as you want to.
If you have kids, they will be thrilled if you have these waiting for them after school! That said, my Fall Cookie Sticks also make a great mid-day snack for people of ALL ages!
The very best part is – they’re easy to make! Have fun my friends!
When you cut your Fall Cookie Sticks you can cut them as big or small as you want to. I usually cut my cookie sticks about an 1-inch wide.
It makes them easy to handle, and easy to dunk in milk, coffee, tea or whatever your beverage of choice may be.
Which of course is the most important part, right? Just kidding, well sort of…
For my Fall Cookie Sticks I like to use Nestle Toll House Halloween Semi-Sweet Chocolate and Orange Morsels. Just like any other chip, they are usually pretty easy to find.
Now for the sprinkles. Keep in mind they are completely optional. You can either add them into your cookie dough after you have mixed all of your ingredients together, or you can dust the dough with sprinkles after you add the chocolate morsels.
Honestly, there isn’t a right or wrong way to add sprinkles. The look of the cookie sticks will change slightly depending on when you add the sprinkles. That’s IF you’re adding sprinkles of course.
