Buncha Crunch-Butterfinger Cookies

Two great flavors, Butterfinger and Buncha Crunch brought together in one great cookie. These cookies are the perfect any time snack!

This cookie is pretty straightforward, yet it brings something a little FUN & different to the table with the wonderful combination of Butterfinger bars and Buncha Crunch chocolate pieces!

If you know me at all, you know I love cookies. If you don’t, please allow me to explain. We love cookies at this house!!

By Wednesday we’re usually out of cookies, so I try to get a batch going for my guys. There’s just something about Wednesday that calls for cookies!

The combination of Buncha Crunch and Butterfinger is wonderful together. They are both terrific in baking. I especially like the way the chopped pieces of Butterfinger bake up. Of course, the Buncha Crunch were also perfect! But I knew they would be.

The lovely round chocolate pieces are Buncha Crunch, and they are wonderful in these cookies!

They may look like raisins, but they’re NOT let me assure you. My guys don’t like raisins in anything ever!

It’s always very important to allow your cookies to cool completely. Some things you just can rush. :)

Buncha Crunch-Butterfinger Cookies

Two great flavors, Butterfinger and Buncha Crunch brought together in one great cookie. These cookies are the perfect any time snack!

1/2 cup butter, softened

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup white sugar

1 egg, brought to room temperature

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

1 1/2 cups flour

3 tablespoons vanilla instant pudding mix

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 box (3.2 oz.) Nestle Buncha Crunch candy, or imitation brand

1/2-3/4 cup Butterfinger bars, chopped 

directions:

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease cookie sheets, or line sheets with silicon mat liners. Prepare cookie sheets for baking. Set aside.

2. In a large bowl with a hand-mixer or stand mixer with paddle attachment mix together the brown sugar, butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add in the egg and vanilla. Continue mixing until incorporated. Slowly add the flour, salt, baking soda, and instant pudding mix. Mix until combined. By hand, stir in Buncha Crunch pieces, and chopped Butterfinger pieces. Mix until candy pieces are evenly distributed through dough.

3. Scoop the cookie dough onto prepared cookie sheets. Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden at the edges and just barely set at center when lightly touched. Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheets, then remove cookies with a spatula to wire racks to cool completely.
